The inspiration for this exploration arose from a news article describing a farm’s practice of equipping cows with VR headsets to enhance milk production. This practice was felt to be violent and prompted further investigation into the underlying mechanisms governing relationships between animals, technology and humans. Throughout the research process, I drew upon various examples, primarily focusing on the artistic works relevant to this topic.
